If you are not able to create a personal tax account

If you experience any difficulties creating or logging in to your personal tax account, you can contact HMRC to request a copy of your Employment records.

You can do so with the button below.

You will need your UTR number and National Insurance number to clear security, which you can find in your profile on our app.

If they tell you to register for a personal tax account and find it too difficult, then be sure to say so. 

You will need to know what tax year you require the information for (this will be something like 2019/20 or 2020/21).

Remember that it is your responsibility to have made sure you received this information and kept it. 

HMRC are not legally required to post you a copy of this information and may not be willing to help you at first, so have a bit of patience and be nice. They are doing you a big favour!

If they agree to send you the information, you should receive it within two weeks. Once you have it, you can log in and add it to your account.
